Came over when the bell rang to check and make sure everyone had the blog posts from this week pulled up, and noticed this interesting choice in seating.
Me: "Are those llamas wearing sunglasses on your socks?"
Student: "Yeah! You're the first person that's actually noticed!"
Flashback Friday: That one time I let an 8th grader try to teach the class...
Last semester, we had a day where the majority of the 8th grade class got called in for a field trip meeting. I still wanted to work, but not get ahead and have to re-teach to the missing kids...and this class just sort of took charge on their own.
It's interesting to see what my students pick-up on in regards to how I teach, because he's definitely trying to copy some of the things I regularly do in class!
